2026 Anchorage School Choice Expo at the Alaska Native Heritage Center
WHAT?
Families in Alaska have more choices for their children’s education than ever before! Parents: learn more about the different K–12 education options available for your kids at the Anchorage School Choice Expo on January 31, 2026, from 11:00am to 2:00pm, at the Alaska Native Heritage Center.
At the school fair, you’ll have the chance to meet representatives from traditional public, public charter, public magnet, private, faith-based, online, home, and nontraditional schooling options, and have your questions answered.
The Anchorage School Fair is hosted by the Alaska School Choice Coalition in collaboration with the National School Choice Awareness Foundation. It’s family-friendly, free to attend, and will include complimentary food. RSVP today!
We are volunteer-driven at Alaska School Choice! Volunteers are needed to help advise families on educational opportunities, help with fun events, join the scholarship committee, assist with social media and PR, connect with charters and educational service providers, help raise funds or be a school choice liaison in your area of Alaska. We are better together!
