We cordially invite you to the 2024 Alaska School Choice Celebration! School choice is sweeping the nation as families look to schools like yours to meet the learning needs of their students. National School Choice Week is an effort to raise awareness around all the options available to families in need.
Visit all the vendors and get a free hot chocolate! Your name will also be placed in the drawing to win a prize!
Essay Contest
Essay Contest: Students will write an essay, “Why I love the way I learn.” The winner will receive a prize and read their essay at the Alaska School Choice Celebration on January 22nd.
Sticky Note Collage
Celebrate School Choice with Art! 🎨✨
Get your school, learning pod, or co-op involved in a unique "sticky note art" project! 📝 Each student can showcase their individual spirit by decorating a sticky note with their favorite subject or way to learn.
How to Participate:

Get sticky notes or paper in your chosen color.

Let students unleash their creativity—draw, paint, or create a piece of a larger picture.

Arrange the sticky notes on a trifold board or in a specific shape, like your school logo.

Secure with glue or tape to ensure they stay in place.
